RAC has launched an online forum on its website allowing members to discuss motoring issues, including all manner of topics from classic car events to shopping around for the best price for a tune up!

Through customer research, RAC is aware that membership means more than just getting an insurance or breakdown package once a year. RAC members wanted to speak to other members about all motoring issues and the RAC website offers the perfect platform. RAC to date has been an informative and transactional resource for all motorists to gain knowledge about motoring in the UK.

Jonathon Brown, head of RAC eChannels, said: "RAC is in an excellent position to offer this service as a trusted brand within the motoring space. No other motoring organisation is offering customers the opportunity to speak exclusively on motoring issues and the RAC is very excited to be able to facilitate this service for its members in this way."

All RAC members have to do to get chatting on the RAC motoring forum is go to the "Love to Chat" icon on the RAC homepage: www.rac.co.uk and sign up to chat with other motoring enthusiasts.

About RAC
With around seven million members, RAC is one of the UK's most progressive motoring organizations, providing services for both private and business motorists. Whether it's roadside assistance, windscreen repair and replacement, learning to drive, vehicle inspections and checks, legal and financial services or up-to-the-minute traffic and travel information - RAC is able to meet motorists’ needs. RAC incorporates BSM, RAC Auto Windscreens, RAC Direct Insurance and HPI.

Aviva bought RAC last year. The acquisition brings together RAC's powerful brand and customer base with the expertise and leading position in motor insurance of Norwich Union Insurance (part of Aviva). Norwich Union is the UK's largest insurer, insuring one in seven motor vehicles and with a market share of around 14%.
