Norwich Union Life has announced three new senior executive appointments to further strengthen its senior executive team:
Nic Nicandrou is appointed as Norwich Union Life’s finance director. Nic moves across from Aviva plc, Norwich Union’s parent company, where he was group financial control director and a member of the Aviva Corporate Office Management Committee. Prior to joining Norwich Union in 1997, Nic worked for PWC in a number of senior auditing and consultancy roles.
Crawford Davidson is appointed as marketing director. Crawford joins from Tesco where he was marketing director for Tesco.com, the internet shopping service, and also Tesco Direct. Prior to this role, Crawford was commercial and marketing director for Tesco Personal Finance and before this, director of Clubcard. Crawford’s appointment brings a wealth of new experience to Norwich Union Life in the important aspect of consumer marketing as the company seeks to grow its presence significantly in this area.
Graham Boffey is appointed as corporate and consumer distribution director. Graham’s role will be to significantly develop our presence in the corporate benefits market (including bulk purchase annuities) and build our capability in the direct to consumer market. Graham joins from Norwich Union Healthcare where he was managing director for a period of two years and prior to this held the position of partnership director for Norwich Union Insurance.
