To mark the finale of the people’s projections in London, Paris and Singapore. Aviva is doubling the charity donation it makes for every photo uploaded over a 48 hour period this weekend as part of its campaign, You are the Big Picture.
For every photo uploaded to youarethebigpicture.com from midnight on Friday 22 October until midnight on Sunday 24 October, Aviva will donate £2 to Save the Children - twice the amount per photo that has already been pledged to support Aviva’s global Street to School programme. Street to School supports initiatives that help children living and working on the streets back into education or training.
Anyone who donates during this time will be in with a chance to be projected onto landmark buildings in Warsaw, Delhi or Mumbai. Double Donation Weekend coincides with the final evenings of projections in London, Paris and Singapore.
To donate a photo – upload your picture at www.youarethebigpicture.com or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/aviva. Every person who donates their photo also receives an email with a time-code so they can see themselves projected live, as well as a memorable snap-shot of the picture beamed onto a landmark building in one of the six cities.
Aviva’s chief marketing officer, Amanda Mackenzie, said: “We’ve received more than 30,000 photos from 146 countries in less than three weeks. Uploading your photograph is easy but most importantly, people’s involvement really will change lives, helping street children fulfill their potential.”
Douglas Rouse, director of corporate partnership, at Save the Children said: “We are delighted to be working with Aviva and involved in such an innovative and exciting campaign as You are the Big Picture. Our Street to School partnership with Aviva provides vital education for street children in India.”
