Ford Credit France, a Ford finance company, has announced the renewal of its trust in Eurofil, a subsidiary of Aviva, the sixth largest insurer in the world, for a period of five years, within the framework of its Ford Assurance Automobile programme1. This insurance will be at the disposal of individual clients, cottage industries or small-medium businesses as well as the new and used vehicles sold by Ford dealers and agents.

Ford launched its automobile insurance offer over 10 years ago. Since 2006, Eurofil and Ford Credit have been partners to offer Ford Assurance Automobile to their clients, with a portfolio that now boasts more than 15,000 clients.

The car insurance contracts of Ford Assurance Automobile are designed to respond as well as possible to the specific needs of each client, at very competitive rates. One of their particular features is to systematically offer to repair the vehicle within the Ford network, so as to benefit from the skills of this network, original parts and a three-year guarantee on these repairs. Better still, in the case of a repair in the Ford network, the excess is reduced by half.

There are currently almost 8% of individual clients who subscribe to the insurance product of the manufacturer. Thanks to a 95% rate of return in the case of accident in its network, after damage, Ford Assurance Automobile represents a strategic stake on the subject of customer satisfaction and their loyalty to the brand’s dealers and agents.

Jean-Philippe Boghen, director general of Ford Crédit France, declared: “Since 2005, we have wished to build a solid and evolutionary partnership with Eurofil, which places Ford dealers at the heart of the relationship with our clients for the services associated with car insurance. With the strength of this experience behind us.

"I am confident in the know-how of the Eurofil teams to continue to offer us a competitive insurance product with a level of service quality that will allow Ford Assurance Automobile to continue to progress over the years to come and take an active part in enhancing the product and services portfolio of Ford”.

Caspar van Haaften, director of banking insurance and partnerships of Aviva France, added: “We are celebrating this renewed trust in us on the part of Ford Crédit. Eurofil benefits from 10 years of experience on the subject of partnership with car manufacturers or their financial captive. Our company is also recognised for its competitive edge and know-how on the subject of service quality. Finally, Aviva, the parent company of Eurofil, benefits from more than 180 years of experience in insurance”.
