Spain: Aviva Gestión, awarded by Lipper, Morningstar, Expansion and the magazine Investment & Finance

The work of Aviva Gestión has received prizes over the past year with four of the most prestigious recognitions from the financial sector.

  • Morningstar has given an award to the Aviva Espabolsa F1 fund as the best Spanish variable income fund in 2011 and to Futurespaña Variable Income PP as the best Spanish variable income pension plan for 2011, the latter distributed by Caja España Life Insurance.
  • Aviva Espabolsa F1 wins two Lipper-Five Day prizes in the category of Spanish Variable Income fund at three and five years.
  • Expansion-All Funds recognizes the excellence of the Aviva Espabolsa F1 fund as the best Spanish variable income fund for 2011.
  • Moreover,  Aviva Gestión has been voted the best management company of 2011 by the readers of the financial magazine Investment & Finance.

The work of Aviva Gestión has received prizes over the past year with four of the most prestigious recognitions from the financial sector. The prizes Lipper-Five Days, Expansion-All Funds and Morningstar have chosen several funds of the management company as the best for 2011. Moreover the financial magazine Investment & Finance has chosen Aviva Gestión as the best management company of the year thanks to its readers' votes.

In the Lipper prizes, recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the financial sector, Aviva Espabolsa F1 has risen with these prizes to “ Best Spanish variable income fund at three and five years”.

This same fund has been awarded as the “Best variable income fund in Spain” by the fund analysis agency Morningstar. In order to award this prize attention is not only paid to the profitability obtained in the first year but also that reached in the last three and five years, particularly emphasising the fact that the fund has obtained a result that is higher than its competitors in at least three of the last five years.

Apart from this award, the pension fund of Futurespaña Variable Income PP, “Best pension plan”. All the investment team of Aviva was present at the awards ceremony on 23 February last in the Hotel Villa Magna.

On its part Expansion-All Funds has recognized the excellence and profitability of the Aviva Espabolsa F1 fund awarding it one of its prizes, already a tradition in the world of finance and this year is the XXIIIrd edition. The ceremony took place on 17 May last in the Madrid Stock Exchange.

Finally, Aviva Gestión has been recognized by the financial weekly Investment & Finance as the best management agency for 2011. This sign of quality has great prestige due to its seniority, as well as due to the fact that it is the actual clients of the financial institutions and the small shareholders who award them. The recognition was made public on the 8 March last, with a ceremony in the Madrid Stock Exchange.

José Caturia, the corporate investment director and adviser delegate of Aviva Gestión has commented that: “These awards recognize the work carried out by Aviva Gestión since its conception and, above all, the combined efforts of all the team in the development of products that are clearly better than their competitors.”
