Aviva has appointed a new investment specialist to its Master Trust Board. Jonathan Parker will be joining the board to oversee the investment strategy of the Aviva Master Trust.
Aviva Master Trust was recently awarded the Pension Quality Mark (PQM) Ready accreditation. PQM Ready helps employers to identify high quality Master Trusts when choosing a solution for their employees.
Stuart Gash, Pension Governance Manager at Aviva, said:
“I’m delighted that Jonathan is joining the Aviva Master Trust Board. He brings with him many years of investment experience in the pensions industry having worked at senior levels within product providers, asset managers and advisory and consulting firms.
“Our Master Trust is growing quickly as more companies see the advantages of having a board of experienced trustees already in place to oversee their workplace pension scheme.
“Jonathan’s appointment and the PQM Ready accreditation further enhances the reputation of our Master Trust offering.”
Jonathan Parker, Aviva Master Trust Board member, said:
“I have always had an involvement with, and interest in, regulatory matters through my work in product design, regulated advice and interactions with customers and governance bodies.
“I am excited about the opportunity with Aviva as it is a fascinating role at a time of considerable change in the pensions industry. The importance of delivering value and good outcomes for customers has never been greater as millions of new savers experience pensions for the first time.”
